Our thrust on R&D and application development has further helped in customizing products to meet customer requirements.

A visionary leader with a people-centric and innovation-driven approach, Mr. Shah has built a culture of entrepreneurship and excellence within the organization. Since taking charge in the early 1990s, he has expanded PCIPL’s presence to over 120 countries, establishing subsidiaries across the USA, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His commitment to innovation and sustainability led to the establishment of a state-of-the-art R&D and Application Development Centre that strengthens indigenous manufacturing and supports the Make in India initiative.
Widely travelled to more than 80 countries, Mr. Shah has nurtured and partnered with several chemical MSMEs to promote their products globally. His exceptional leadership and contributions to international trade have earned him numerous national awards for export excellence from the Ministry of Commerce, presented by various Commerce Ministers of India.
Deeply committed to social impact, Mr. Shah drives several CSR initiatives, including Project Kiran, which supports more than 1,500 underprivileged families through education, employment, and healthcare. His CSR initiatives include adopting Anganwadis and supporting NGOs focused on health, nutrition, and education for underprivileged communities, as well as establishing a hospice for the elderly in Vadnagar.
Under his leadership, PCIPL continues to grow with purpose driven by innovation, compassion, and a global outlook.
Mr. Ujjval Shah
Technical Director
Mr. Ujjval Shah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UDCT, Mumbai, and a double master’s in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration from Cornell University, USA. Before joining Prakash Chemicals International, he worked with Procter & Gamble, where he gained valuable experience in formulation design and research, with a special focus on biodegradable surfactant systems. His academic and professional pursuits have also led to published white papers in the field of advanced surfactant formulations.
At Prakash Chemicals International, he leads operations, R&D, quality assurance, and new product development. His role involves driving innovation and process optimization while identifying new opportunities for product diversification. With a forward-looking approach and strong technical insight, Mr. Shah continues to strengthen PCIPL’s capability to deliver efficient, innovative, and high-performance solutions that meet evolving global market needs.
