General Description
Di-Butyl Maleate (DBM) is an unsaturated aliphatic ester widely used as a reactive plasticizer and chemical intermediate. It is a clear iquid with good solvency, low volatility, and excellent compatibility with a variety of resins.
DBM is primarily used where flexibility, adhesion, and reactivity are required. Owing to its maleate double bond, it participates in copolymerization reactions, making it suitable for specialty polymers, coatings, adhesives, and resin systems. It also acts as a flexibilizer and processing aid in plastics and rubber applications.
