General Description
Polyvinyl Acetate Homopolymer is a widely used thermoplastic polymer produced by the polymerization of vinyl acetate monomers. It is supplied as a white solid resin or as an aqueous emulsion, depending on grade, and is valued for its strong adhesion, film-forming ability, and ease of formulation.
PVAc homopolymers are commonly used in adhesives, paper coatings, paints, textiles, and construction applications. Their compatibility with water-based systems, good flexibility, and cost-effective performance make them a preferred binder for interior applications where durability and bonding strength are required.
Chemical Properties
• Physical State: Solid resin or aqueous emulsion
