Job Purpose

• Focus on understanding products and their applications for global sourcing. Source products for the company and build relationships with suppliers.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand critical product specifications for different applications and align the company for sourcing
• Source products to meet the needs of customers and suppliers
• Develop and implement market strategies based on the company’s business plan
• Expand supplier base by adding new products
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers
• Strong focus on supplier satisfaction and complaint resolution

Qualifications

• MBA / Chemical Engineer with 2 to 6 years of experience in sourcing commodity chemicals, specialty chemicals, and contract manufacturing, with strong relationship building and supply sourcing development experience, and product-wise sourcing strategy development
